Comment: Not only are the staff knowledgeable (coming from a novice horse person 🤣), theyre, very helpful and their selection is fantastic! I dont have a horse nor do I lease one etc, so the people here are so patient with me when I need to get a question answered or an expert opinion! Comment: This is a great tack and feed store. Large inventory and good prices. Really helpful staff that will take you right to what you are looking for.Is Amazing Prime cheaper? Not that much, many cases almost the same and if you want to have quality local retail stores like this one, its a good idea to support them.Thank God that at least Amazon doesnt sell hay.

Comment: Bought a helmet I ended up not needing. Never used. I did try it on in the store. Went back for a return and was informed they can’t accept returns because of COVID, and they stated this was on signs around the store (that I never saw). I was never informed at the time I purchase that they were not accepting returns either. Small writing at bottom of receipt stating no returns. If you’re going to play the COVID card, then why even let people try things on in your store? Glad to waste $60 here. If you’re in the SoCal area try other equestrian stores that are much more reasonable, like Mary’s Tack & Feed. They also said they couldn’t accept returns in the future once the COVID dilemma is over.

Comment: Always the most thorough selection of products anywhere, great prices and outstanding knowledgeable service. All of the staff & owners are great. Ive been shopping with them since their old location 20 years ago. This by far is a must see/shop store, and if they dont have it, they always are helpful locating it, or special ordering it. Huge selection and if you are from out of the area, its definitely worth a drive. I LOVE the AHP store & family!!!

The staff at American Horse Products were understanding, informative, eager to ensure the best for our needs and I was so impressed with their honesty and input. We left with no more than exactly what my daughter needed and was more than thrilled with my experience.I would recommend this store to anyone interested in gearing up for riding and will be joyfully returning as soon as my daughter needs new boots and half chaps. See, I learned something there too.
