Rip Off Report encourages people to leave bad reviews about businesses, and then turns around and attempts to con businesses into having these reviews removed. They will not remove reviews for free. You may post a rebuttel for free, but the bad review stays up forever-unless you join their "program", which is in fact a thinly disguised attempt at black mail. Considering that "Rip Off Report" has an "F" rating from the Better Business Bereau, it is laughable they should even be considered a resource for consumers to research companies.
Note how you need to be a "member" (which costs money) in order for them to even consider removing a post. That means any crack head in the world can post anything they want, and you must pay to join their "club" to even have them consider removing a post. We have posted their entire email below, which you are welcome to read. Allow us to highlight some of their sales pitch:

Rip Off Report goes on to explain that no reasonable business would be opposed to their program requirements, and goes on to infer that anyone who has a problem with them is a con artist and a thief. The problem is-all their solutions require giving them money! What honest consumer program would require you to pay them in order to have negative reviews evaluated?!

Why does a business get Ripoff Report Verified Status?
The member business allows Ripoff report to email everyone from the past. Those who respond to Ripoff report with a valid complaint must be take care of… the member business made a commitment that if anyone contacts Ripoff Report in the future, they will make things right within 14 days.
