Comment: If I could give Ashley a thousand stars I would! I was searching for a groomer who was willing to trim Finnley with scissors only, as I like to keep his coat long since I don’t let him get matted. I met Ashley the first time I took Finnley there and she is wonderful! She does exactly as I ask and spends a long time working on him every time and he’s always ready on time. Highly recommend Zuri + especially Ashley!

When I called to check on Bella, they knew exactly who she was and gave me an update of her stay, they have webcams and i love I could see her all the time. The past three times I have had my Dog there for a grooming, I was not contacted when he was ready to come home. I had to call and as a result I am unsure how long he had to wait due to the lack of communication. I can understand one time, even two but this is the third time in a row. I feel for the amount charged and the image Zuri portrays, they should and need to do better.

Comment: So happy we found this place for our pup, Gatsby, for boarding! We recently moved to the area and needed to find a new place to board our dog for the weekend. Found Zuri close by and the reviews made it undeniably the best option. We loved that everything was online for booking and loved the add-on features. The place was very clean when we went to drop her off and the staff was so friendly to us and our pup! Loved that we could access the live cams during playtime and check in. Our favorite was the report card daily with a picture and how Gatsby was doing. One of the best things was how great the communication was from the staff. When there was a health concern with Gatsby, they made sure to call and let us know right away. They gave us follow-up calls with updates and when she was better. Also loved the add-on bath option so that Gatsby was all clean and happy when we came to pick her up. So happy we found Zuri Pet Spa & Resort!

I picked her up an hour later and was told $80 (bath only)The manager then told me prices went up, groomers get paid more than bathers and economy is hard on everyone! Had they given a pre groom $ estimate w/ the evaluation, this would appear more honest to the customer.

Comment: If the dog grooming van could allow my 4 year olds to safely cross the road in the apartment complex where we live, that would be great.I was supervising them crossing the road this morning, I like to see them checking both ways and crossing on their own etc. This van arrived after one had crossed, but was waiting for the other. That didn’t stop him, he just carried on despite clearly seeing them.As far as I remember, pedestrians get the right of way. Especially when they are kids and on their own property.As the driver (long hair, beard) goes past, I also see he is using his phone in his hand to navigate. Terrible idea when kids are around, and in general.This really touched a nerve with me today

Comment: Weve had our dog lodge here many times, and theres normally just some anxiety as we drop him off (which is expected considering how loud this place is). When we hand our dog to the people helping, theres normally no issue and he peacefully walks off. However, our last visit was unusual in that the person assisting us clearly didnt know how to deal with big dogs (which was acknowledged and stated by another employee) and so my dogs anxiety was misinterpreted as aggression. I know that big dogs are scary; theyre bigger and more intimidating than small dogs, so its understandable that people are more skittish around them than they are around small dogs. My dog wasnt innocent either, as he did jump up toward the handler and he has been trained against this before but this does show it needs to be reinforced. What I did not appreciate was that his anxiety was called aggression by the handler, and so we will probably not be welcome back thanks in part to my fault but also the fault of an employee at a pet spa that doesnt know how to handle large dogs.

Comment: Today was my puppy Luca’s first time to a doggie daycare and his first time to Zuri Pet Spa & Resort. Luca is entertaining his naughty phase when being at home alone so we knew we needed to find him a place to be watched over throughout the day while we work. Zuri was highly recommended by 2 of my coworkers, so I quickly made a reservation for a full day of daycare. It was such a quick and easy process; I spoke with Linda on the phone and she helped me build Luca’s profile and gave me all the information I needed. When I dropped him off, the check-in process was very quick and being able to watch him on their cameras were great. I felt so relieved to know that my baby Luca was being taken care of and got to interact with other dogs (which he hasn’t done for about 4 months, since he was with his foster parents) Zuri daycare will definitely become apart of our regular schedule for Luca and we look forward to taking him to their second location. Comment: My dogs had never boarded before (and are around 5 years old) but friends recommended Zuri and so I boarded them for 6 days there. They have a live webcam so I could view them daily - in the playroom the two of them sat side by side and just watched, as if they were trying to figure out what was going on.I had their teeth cleaned while there and they did an excellent job!! Had them cleaned a year ago and one came back with yellow teeth - they managed to get them white again! Great job!When I picked my dogs up they were freshly bathed and combed out - they looked great and were in good spirits! So it was a very good experience!

Comment: Zuri has always been excellent for grooming and other services. I have been a client for 2 yrs now.One thing I have noticed is the customer service is not the same. I dropped my pup off at 9:00 am and normally I always get a text within 2-3 hours that shes done.My past 2 experiences have been disappointing. They had my dog since 9:00 am it was 3:00 when I finally called for status. They indicated she had been ready for 30 min? No text no call plus they had her for 6 hours? A grooming does not take that long.The front office person was less then friendly and referred me to the groomer to voice my complaint.Customer Service is everyones job! Not just the groomer...I hope things get back to the way they were or I will choose another groomer .

Comment: Zuri has been our only and best grooming center. They have always done their best to accommodate you whenever possible. I get a bit over the top with our boy. Hes a big boy and a lot of work and his health is taking a hit. They have been very understanding about this. My only complaint is just when I feel comfortable and Chance feels comfortable with a groomer they leave. I know this is a common problem with businesses and cannot be predicted, however, it is hard to trust a new groomer immediately. But I do want them to know I appreciate all they do.

Comment: I never leave reviews but my boyfriend and I Left our 7 month old cavapoo puppy here for our first getaway without him. We’ve never left him before so it was so hard for us. After seeing this place and the reviews I just knew our Theodore would love it! We had daily report cards with pictures and how he was doing along with seeing him on a live video playing with the other dogs. Since he stayed 6 days he had a complementary bath and he smells so clean and soft! They took should good care of him! No injuries and no kennel cough (which worried me) when I picked him up he was so happy! Definitely recommend this place and definitely will be back!! :) yay Zuri!!!!!

Comment: Update: we’ve used Zuri multiple times now and had great experiences every single time. This latest stay included an unexpected extension when our flight was cancelled and we were stranded on the opposite coast. It was a super easy process and eased our anxiety. Seeing the staff interact with the dogs on the daycare cameras and getting the report cards with pictures every few days continues to show us our dogs are genuinely happy and thriving during their stays and that the staff really are great. I recommend Zuri to everyone who asks for boarding recommendations.Boarded my 3 dogs ( 1 senior small dog and 2 large older dogs with bad anxiety) for 12 nights. One of my large dogs had failed the test day at Camp Bow Wow, the other large dog passed but was shaking by the gate the entire time. We decided to try Zuri instead after much research and we are so glad we did. We watched our dogs on the daycare cameras every day- both large dogs did incredible with the other dogs, and the staff were very attentive. More than once we caught staff sitting in the small dog area and petting/playing with dogs. My one large dog with the worst anxiety laid along a wall the entire first day, clearly a little scared. The next day I saw t hat a piece of play equipment had been moved to where she laid the day before where she could hide under the piece of equipment, So they were clearly paying attention to her and felt that would make her more comfortable which was very sweet. All of my dogs upon pickup were not crazy trying to get out like they have been before, they were all calm and we genuinely believe they had an enjoyable stay. We will definitely use them again!

Comment: We absolutely loved our experience with Zuri from the moment we placed a call to the moment we got our dog, Astro, back from his groom- it was all around amazing. They were quick to help me over the phone and accommodate my schedule to get us in as a new client which was awesome. On the day of, Astro was a bit nervous and I was too because we had been with our previous groomer for years but our new Zuri groomer, Katherine, came out and talked with me about what we wanted and sat on the floor with Astro to help make him comfortable which made me feel much better. We got him back after a few hours and he was so happy and looked SO amazing, we’re just beyond happy with the groom and everyone we dealt with! We already scheduled our next appointment and most definitely will keep coming back. Zuri came highly recommended to us by other goldendoodle parents and I couldn’t recommend them enough myself!

It is extraordinarily hard for me to be away from her under any circumstances. She even goes to work with me every day. *BUT* if for some reason she cannot go with me somewhere, Zuri is the only place I would let her stay. I say that because I want others who are attached to their babies to know that I get it and that you can rest assured that Zuri is the best place for your loved one. Every time I called they would find out exactly what she was up to and assure me that she is being adored and cared for as best is possible. We’ve always had a close friend watch our 2 dogs ( German Shepard and lab) when we go out of town and never thought about trying a “pet hotel”. Because she was going to be with us, along with all other people we would have trusted, we decided to try Zuri and our family has used them before and loved it. I was so nervous because our dogs can be wild and not very friendly with other dogs but they kept them in private play, gave them so much special time and love!!! His experience at a previous location was a nightmare, they would isolate him because he was a large breed and the management didn’t like his breed. Comment: I just moved to CA a couple of months ago and needed a groomer for my dog. Zuri had great reviews, so I decided to try them out. I booked her bath on the day we were moving into a new house and decided to have her stay for doggie daycare as well. She had a great time and came out all shiny and soft. When I went to pay my bill, they told me that the daycare fee was waived since it was our first visit. What an awesome surprise! We will be back!

Comment: The owner has really done a great job with the staff that represents Zuri Pet Spa, they’re amazingly loving with all of the pets. The staff there are kinds, informative and caring, they really take the time in explaining whatever prices you’re looking for and my dogs have burger been more comfortable at any pet resort such as this one. I have three dogs and they’ve haven’t shown any discomfor me happy as one of them is old and particular. The grooming is incredible and they’re all talented, Hector is amazing with my labradoodles’ and he’s a very trusted groomer! I hope he never leaves! Comment: They were very helpful getting us in to doggy day care, even though we had an issue with our vet’s vaccination records- we were able to clear it up, but the staff went above and beyond. Our pup came back tired and happy, and we were happy too! Not needing to go for a long walk to tire out a cooped up dog after a day at the beach was excellent.

Comment: They really care about your pet. They’re not just there to bathe and groom your dog. The groomer actually talks to you about what kind of cut you want for your little buddy. They are very knowledgeable. For instance, I didn’t know you’re not suppose to cut a puppy’s hair before they turn a year old. My old groomer never told me that. I highly recommend Zuri Per Spa.

The online cams are helpful during the day as well as a nice report card and pictures of our dog at the end of the day make for a good experience. Having the dogs at ZPS split into large and small dogs is also a big bonus for us all. Good experiences overall. Recommend +++

I also see the staff interacting with all the pups with such kindness and sweetness. And they always appear happy to see her. And I love that they bring her home in the evening and remember to tell her to “guard the house” before leaving her ( that’s our command to let her know that she’s on her own).

We have been going to zuri since 2017ish. For the past year or so we have taken our dog 2x/week for day care and always board with zuri when we leave town.Before finding zuri we tried other day care and boarding businesses around town. None of them gave us the feeling the zuri staff does. I know when I leave town or drop my little one off, she is in good hands and will be well taken care of.Every Monday and Friday, within 2 minutes of getting in the car Irie falls right asleep from playing all day long.We love Zuri 💗

Comment: Weve been going with Zuri Pet Spa for the past couple months & each time we have had a wonderful experience! The driver is great in handling our big St. Bernard Riley. Every time I have called the office to make an appointmemt for Riley, we are greeted with a kind & polite receptionist. Once we did have an issue, but it was quickly resolved by the the manager. She was very attentive to hear our issue out and was quick to find a solution. With such wonderful customer service that we received through the resolution of our issue, we have decided to continue with Zuri Pet Spa & never looked back! They have great promotions: discounts, pick up/ drop off, one day of free doggy daycare, etc. Most importantly our dog Riley comes home happy & beautiful from her grooming. They dropped the dog off st the vet and called her. They never met her there or called her after. Her dog could have died... I dont recommend taking your dog here.

Comment: I made an appointment for my dog with Zuri, but when we showed up they informed me (and not at the time I made the appointment) that my dog needed to have all his vaccinations updated.When I went to walk out the door they said, Oh dont worry about it this time, we will just take him!Fearing that there was a reason for my dog needing to be vaccinated, I decided against letting them break their own policy (why have a mandatory vaccination policy, then let people in regardless?), and took my dog to the vet, where we got his vaccinations done. After that, I took him back to Zuri and checked my dog in for his grooming.5.5 Hours later (how in the world does it take 5 hours to wash a dog?) my dogs eyes and face were swollen shut, an allergic reaction from the vaccinations, but NOBODY at Zuri commented on the fact that this was happening.While my dog was in their care, I feel like he wasnt taken care of. He was clean yes, but his face was swollen shut and he was running a fever and freaking out, traumatized from the allergic reaction and nobody noticing...Not a single employee said anything to me about his condition. So very disappointed that the people that work for Zuri didnt care enough to notice what was happening with my dogs health.We will not be coming back! And we will be letting anybody we talk to know just how little care was actually shown to our animal while under the careless eye of Zuri employees.

Comment: My dog has been going to the Zuri for boarding for about 5 years. I appreciate all the staff and how well they care for my dog. I always get her bathed before I pick her up and the groomers do a fantastic job. The groomers always give her a new bandana, man tie or a bow tie. I love that while I am on vacation enjoying myself, my dog is also hanging out with other dogs and enjoying herself. She always comes home tired. I also love that while I am away I can look at my dog enjoying herself on the Zuri live feed cameras. I also take advantage of the vaccination clinic that the Zuri has at their location once a month. I only have wonderful things to say about The Zuri. The report cards they send with her pictures always make me smile while I am away from home. I am able to relax and enjoy my family’s vacation knowing that our dog is being cared for fully. OMG and the holiday photos. I love and appreciate it all. Thank you Zuri! You are the best!
